Founded in 1982, the China Translation Association is the only national social organization in the field of translation in China. The competent department is the foreign language Bureau of China. The permanent working bodies of the association are the Secretariat and the industry management office, both of which are located in the Bureau of foreign languages and culture of China. Translators Association of China has actively carried out social public welfare activities related to translation work, and has long held various exchange activities in the translation industry, so as to improve the overall level of translation and promote the healthy and sustainable development of the translation industry; Actively carry out industry guidance, participate in industry management, and strive to promote the formulation and implementation of national standards for China's translation industry; Entrusted by the Ministry of personnel of the people's Republic of China and the office of the national translation qualification (level) examination of the State Administration of foreign languages of the people's Republic of China, it is responsible for the registration of the certificate of the national translation qualification (level) examination and the implementation of Continuing Education.
